Audition Info
Keeping the Quality High
Membership in One On One is by audition only; there are no exceptions to this rule. There is no fee to audition. The process allows us to select those actors who have excellent cold reading skills and are ready to be seen by casting directors and agents, both of which can help the actor get work in film, television, theatre and commercials.

Where?
Loudmouth Studios.
11340 Moorpark Street
Studio City, California 91602

(SE corner of Tujunga next to gas station). Street parking is available (please do not park in small lot behind building). The entrance is in the rear.

When?
Auditions are normally held on Wednesdays between the hours of 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. However, we do not necessarily hold them every week, but base them on reservations. Please click here to add your name to the reservations list. You will be contacted by email or phone and informed of the next audition date.

What Should I Bring?
Please bring at least two (2) headshots, with resumes attached to the back.

What to Do?
Please sign in when you arrive, and we will be with you as soon as possible. We will pair you up with another actor who is auditioning and give you a scene to work on. You will have a limited amount of time (10-15) minutes, which approximates the preparation time on a typical evening when you are doing a workshop.

What Are We Looking For?
Keep your reading simple. We are looking for good, solid cold reading skills; the ability to get off the page (not memorized) and relate to your partner. We judge each actor individually, so don't worry about the other actor. Make strong choices and commit to them.

The Assessment
After our auditioners watch your scene, you will be asked to step out while they discuss your performance. They will then call you back (individually) and let you know their decision. If you did not pass the audition, you will be given specifics as to why, and what you can work on so that you can return in the future. If you do pass, you will then be given a briefing as to what to expect from One on One, and how to get started. Any questions will be answered at that time.

Have Fun With It!
All of us at One on One are actors, and do our best to respect you and your time. We know what auditions can be like and sincerely try to make the process pleasant for all concerned.
